The Marvel Cinematic Universe is expanding at a remarkable rate, with a constant stream of new TV shows releasing on Disney+. Earlier TV series were produced by the now-defunct Marvel Television, and they were only ever loosely connected to the mainstream MCU, but that's no longer the case; almost all the small screen productions - with the exception of Moon Knight - set up storylines or had impacts on live-action MCU movies that followed (or will in future). That means Marvel needs every MCU audience member to watch the shows, which - at times - has proved to be a challenge, but not because of quality.
